Think India MNIT Article Writing Competition

Hello MNITians,

Heritage and cultural team of Think India is now going to start the process of recruitment. It is totally based on a simple competition where only MNITians can participate.

There are 10 names of unsung heroes, and you have to write an article on any one of them

2. Jhalkari Bai
3. Azizun Bai
4. Rani Avantibai
5. Senapati Bapat
6. Alluri Sitarama Raju
7. Kanaiyalal Maneklal Munshi
8. N.G. Ranga
9. Velu Nachiyar
10. Khudiram Bose

There are 10 Medicinal plants names are given on which you have to write on 2 medicinal plants.

1. Turmeric
2. Mustard
3. Fennel
4. Coriander
5. Ginger
6. Saffron
7. Almonds
8. peanut
9. walnut
10. Garlic

The rules of writing an article:

1. Write only on one topic either heroes or medicinal plants.
2. We have the tools to check which line you have copied from which website, so avoid copying.
3. The article should be in easy language.
4. The article should be in .txt, or .docx handwritten will not be accepted.
5. The file name of the submission must be as Name_Surname.docx e.g. Aditya_Kashyap.docx
6. Non-compliance with either of the guidelines mentioned above will result in immediate rejection of the submission. No queries in this regard shall be entertained.
7. Min. words for unsung heroes should be 700 and for medicinal plants 200 each.
8. At least 1 image is compulsory.

Marking scheme:

1. There are max. 100 points.
2. Each single copied sentence will give you -1 point.
3. If an article on unsung heroes has less than 700 words will reduce your marks by 10 points and for medicinal plants words are 200.
4. Submissions with a similarity percentage above 15 percent will be automatically rejected.
5. No image found in the article will deduce 10 points.
6. Other judging criteria will depend on judges.
